Hi, my name is Saundra. I am 60 + years young. I’m an empty nester and divorcee on a mission to redesign my life and fill the next chapters of it with travel, adventure and a full-spectrum appreciation for what the world has to offer.
I named this journey and this space “Epic 2nd Act” because even though my life’s first act was great (school, marriage, babies, etc.), it was a script written by someone else.
I followed what I was taught to know as the “right” path, however once I found myself single with two grown children that live out-of-state, I began to go on short trips in an effort to simply get away from my usual environment. Who doesn’t love the occasional change of scenery, right?
So, I used my time away to reflect and to reconnect to myself. In the process I found a new passion; travel! Over the last 12 years. I have been all over Europe, Africa, and the Americas. I’ve had an awesome time learning about other cultures, meeting beautiful people and witnessing the world’s wonders on a global scale. [Read more of my story… ]
My hope is to inspire and encourage anyone who is facing a major life transition, feeling lost and/or uncertain about what the future may hold. You may actually find yourself by getting lost in adventure and discovery.
Rewrite your life so that the years to come are even greater than the ones past. So that you can begin to redefine happily ever after one trip at a time.
